Composites extends the visual universe of Primes into the realm of generative and interactive art on the blockchain. This on-chain collection of 1,575 NFTs reimagines numbers and data as dynamic, ever‑evolving artworks.
An Imprint of Time
At the moment of minting, each token is infused with real-time DeFi data, anchoring it within a specific blockchain environment. Some parts of the composition may remain fixed—or not—while others stay in constant transformation.
A Living Artwork
The artwork thus continues to live, renewed by the ongoing activity of the blockchain and the engagement of its users. Its visual characteristics evolve, shift, and retain memory.
From Observation to Interaction
Rooted in conceptual and generative art, Composites invites the collector to reconfigure, trigger animations, or rearrange the visual composition.
Matter, memory and flow
This work questions the very notions of originality and transformation in digital art. Here, the blockchain becomes medium, and the material, the energy, and the memory of the artworks. It forms a self-sustaining system where information shapes form, where the artwork is both archive and a living process, sustained by the very infrastructure that powers it.
Traits
General
- Each piece is minted with a fixed state — either Sublimatio or Fixatio. This state never changes.
- The 9x9 grid is generated from the owner’s address, making it unique to each holder. Its composition updates with every transaction.
- The cellae are interactive.
- Colors and shapes shift after a transfer or when the metadata is refreshed.
- The two collections — Primes and Composites — are complementary. Each piece shares an ID with its counterpart across collections, forming a connected pair.
💀 State
Each piece is assigned a state at mint:
- Sublimatio 🜎, traits change with every transaction or metadata refresh. A ⭮ icon appears next to the value to indicate this state.
- Fixatio 🜏, traits are stable; the background always reuses the same components when recomposed.
Interactive Cellae 👆
Shows whether the interactive cell grid was completed at the time of minting.
🌈 Composites
Shows the total number of cells in the grid. For example, if Composites #36 has 71 cellae, then Primes #36 has the remaining 10 — one for each prime.

- Albedo: vertical pattern
- Pan: horizontal pattern
- Aura: blurred aura
This primary trait determines the presence of secondary traits, like Lines of Force and Primes Shadows.
Lines of Force
The black lines form a pattern based on the digits of the token ID.
Primes Shadows
Indicates whether the shadows of prime numbers are present.
Prima Spectrum 🎨
Indicates whether one of the 12 received palettes is present.
Chromos ⏳
For a received palette, indicates whether the color transition is animated or not.
Vanishing Points
Indicates whether the central vanishing points of each cell are present or not.
🝐 Ciphered Form
Indicates whether one of the 12 possible dynamic geometric patterns is present.
Aether
Indicates the presence or absence of animated noise in the depicted space.
Animus or Arcane
Summons a spirit among 15 Animae and 3 Arcanes.
Reserve
A reserve of 56 tokens is allocated to the creator prior to the public sale.
